Hood Golden Eggnog!
I’ve spent over 10 years dreaming of and trying to hunt down Hood Golden Eggnog every holiday season. I grew up in New England, and up until a few years ago it was my understanding that Hood Eggnog was only available there. Special Edition flavors such as Gingerbread, Pumpkin, and Sugar Cookie Eggnog eventually found their way to at least the Midwest, where I moved for college, but their Golden Eggnog has eluded me ever since.
What is Golden Eggnog? It’s just Hood brand’s classic eggnog recipe, but in my opinion it is the best Eggnog out there. Finding it on shelves was always a defining moment of the start of the holiday season for me when I was a kid. And now, coming across it in a Walmart in Northern Michigan, I may or may not have shed a tear and took a little sip (okay, chug) before even checking out. It would seem that Hood Golden Eggnog has finally started expanding its reach! This easily is my favorite and most prized junk food find since starting this account!
